Built by Athletes, for Athletes
TheHyroxGuide started as one athlete's frustration with scattered, paywalled HYROX content. We built the platform we wished existed — and made it free.
Our Mission
To give every HYROX athlete — from first-timers to sub-60 chasers — access to the same quality training tools, plans, and analysis that used to cost hundreds of pounds. Race preparation should be accessible, personalised, and backed by real data.
The Story
The HYROX community was growing fast but training resources were fragmented. Generic plans that didn't account for individual weaknesses. Paid apps that locked basic features behind subscriptions. Race results with no way to analyse what went wrong.
We built TheHyroxGuide to solve that. Every training plan is station-specific. Every tool is built for the unique demands of HYROX — the 1km runs between stations, the grip fatigue from farmers carry to lunges, the mental game of 8 stations in sequence.
What started as a pace calculator and a few training plans has grown into a complete platform: personalised adaptive plans, race simulations, personalised coaching, wearable sync, doubles coordination, and a coach hub. Core tools are free forever, with Pro unlocking advanced features like personalised plans, AI coaching, and wearable analytics.

What Makes Us Different
HYROX-Specific, Not Generic
Every plan, calculator, and workout is designed for the unique structure of HYROX — 8 stations with 1km runs between them. No repurposed CrossFit templates.
Adaptive, Not Static
Pro plans use 12 adaptive signals that adjust your training based on logged workouts, personal bests, and station performance. Your plan evolves as you do.
Community, Not Corporate
Built by HYROX athletes who race. We test everything ourselves. The platform stays free because better-prepared athletes make better races for everyone.
What Athletes Are Saying
Sarah M.
London, UK · Open Women
“Honestly didn't realise how much my sled push was costing me until the plan flagged it. Spent ten weeks actually training for it properly instead of just winging it on race day. Massive difference.”
1:32:40 → 1:22:15
PB improvement over 10 weeks
James T.
Manchester, UK · Open Men
“Three races at 1:15 and I couldn't work out why. Plugged my splits into the pace calculator and it was obvious — I was going way too hard on the first four stations. Paced it properly at Birmingham and finally cracked 1:10.”
1:15:22 → 1:09:48
3-race plateau broken
Emma & Liv
Bristol, UK · Doubles Women
“We were just going to split everything 50/50 until the allocator showed Liv is way stronger on sled push and I'm quicker on rowing. Practised those changeovers for weeks and it paid off big time on race day.”
2:18:00 → 1:58:32
First sub-2hr doubles finish
David K.
Edinburgh, UK · Pro Men
“I've paid for coaching apps before that gave me less than this. The plan actually adjusts when you're smashing it — I noticed the intensity creep up after a couple of strong weeks. That's what got me under the hour.”
1:05:44 → 0:59:12
First sub-60 finish
Priya R.
Birmingham, UK · Open Women
“Never even heard of HYROX until a friend signed us up. I genuinely went from not being able to do a wall ball to finishing the whole thing. The technique guides for each station were a lifesaver — especially the sled pull one.”
0 → 1:41:23
First-ever HYROX finish
Tom H.
Leeds, UK · Open Men
“I always blamed my running but the race analyser showed my runs were actually decent — it was farmers carry and burpee broad jumps tanking my time. Focused on those two for a couple of months and dropped eight minutes. Should have done it sooner.”
1:22:10 → 1:14:05
8 min drop in 2 months
